Democracy Reporting International (DRI) is an independent, not-for-profit organisation operating on the conviction that democratic, participatory governance is a human right and governments should be accountable to their citizens.
DRI provides citizens, legislators, the media, and the international community with specialist analysis and reporting on democratic developments.

Democracy Reporting International is funded from a wide range of sources: we receive contributions from governments, international organisations and individuals. Relying on many sources of income helps Democracy Reporting maintain its independence. We accept both general donations as well as contributions committed to specific projects.

• impair its independence to pursue its mission
• endanger its integrity and reputation
